The weather was absolutely fantastic for visiting the beach! We headed back to Indiana and visited the Dunes! The kids had a fabulous time!
Joe enjoyed building sand castles!
and was even wearing the bucket!
Jack thought he was the biggest stud on the beach and was even showing me his muscles! LOL
and what day would be complete without burying the children in the sand! LOL
THE DUNES!...
Strangely enough, considering how close this little destination is, we have never been there before! None of us had ever been on the dunes! So, we were glad we got to try them out!
Joey decided to sit the first round out at the bottom!
Mike took the big kids up the dunes!

Juls was tired at the bottom!
Then Jack decided to take Joey up the dune!
Juls sat it out at the bottom! (In this pic, you can really see her eye problem). She started to kind of close her eye as it would bother her! :( Poor baby. I am anxiously awaiting getting her in to the doctor!
And, they loved running down the dunes! Move over Baywatch! LOL
My three amigos! Love them so much, so happy to spend quality family time together!
THEN BACK TO THE HOTEL...
Of course, you cannot be a kid at a hotel unless you are swimming in the hotel pool! So, that is what we did before bed! The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub!

Finally it was off to bed! What luck our vacation coincided with SHARK WEEK On discovery channel! So, we watched wonderful shark shows before going to sleep! I hope the kids had visions of sharks dancing in their heads as they entered sleep land! :)
(they do love each other sometimes! LOL)
