Jack turns 2!

Jack turned two today! I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone by. Where is my little baby! Even though we have temporarily postponed his birthday party, he still had a heck of a time celebrating! I had my mom pick him up a bouquet of balloons which was a huge hit! My mom also brought him over a few presents which he loved including a new big boy bed! My mom and dad bought him a twin bed and below he can be seen clutching the receipt! He looks like he really understands that he got something cool! I think he is probably looking at the balloons behind the camera, but we can pretend!!
My new bed! Jack gets a bubble gun and shoots everything in sight!
Even Daddy! :)

My mom brought him over a little cake shaped like a puppy. Jack called it his "sugar puppy" and ate quite a bit of it! I am surprised he did not get a stomach ache! :)
yum yum
Jack opens his presents...
After we had cake and played with a few new toys, we headed over to International Night at the High School. The foreign language clubs put it on and there was food, prizes and games for the kids. Jack had a good time with the games. We were going to stay to watch Tony in a little skit but I started to not feel so hot so we headed home early, but Jack still had fun! Below he is picking up a ducky to win a prize!

Jack visits France!
jack listens patiently to a story told by the students.
Here Jack is throwing a bean bag into the hole--you can see the bean bag in the air. What you dont see is that he actually made it into the hole! We were pretty impressed! Finally, he listened to the band play and then we headed home. Jack is not shy at all, he went up to the kid who was playing the drum and said "more, more" so the kid lowered the drum and let Jack bang on it! It was in the gym so it was really loud! That was probably his best birthday present! He is still talking about the "loud drums!"
