Wow, my time in Champaign is really coming to an end. I have very mixed emotions about the whole moving thing. I am excited to move back home and be really close to family but I am going to miss all of the wonderful people I have met and become such great friends with in Champaign. Particularly I am going to miss all of my lab-mates! Leaving is really hard.
Last night, the lab people took me out to Bar Louie for dinner. It was so thoughtful and kind of them. They made me a card and got me a gift certificate to a spa! They are so thoughtful, I am going to miss all of them!
Matthias even constructed me a wonderful goodbye letter with stickers! That was priceless! :)
